Hey kids! What is phishing? Is it what you do with your grandparents on a lake? No, that's fishing! Phishing is when someone untrustworthy gets private information through sending phishing links or malware.  They act trustworthy and send links to people, hoping for them to click it and go to their website. Then, this website could look like a login page on the company's website.  You put in your log-in info or any other important information, and that's compromised.  These links could also make you automatically download malware, so they now have access to your device.  Hackers don't only spam emails and texts; they can spam phone calls, wanting to repair a problem on your device, often scaring you that your issue is severe.  They might leave a link that also will redirect to an impersonated website or just make you download malware.  These thieves might not pay that much attention to grammar as they spam their emails, so watch out for any grammatical errors.  Professional companies wouldn't have any of these mistakes, so these are a major warning of something suspicious.
